Signing of a Letter of Intent on Cooperation with the Academy of Music in Gdańsk http://audioakustyka.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/amuz25_02.jpg 900 600 audioacoustics.org http://audioakustyka.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/amuz25_02.jpgOn March 19, 2025, in the Senate Hall of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, a letter of intent was signed between the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk and Gdańsk University of Technology. The purpose of the agreement is to strengthen cooperation in the field of education and to foster academic exchange between students, faculty members, and researchers of both institutions. The two universities also plan to carry out the AudioNet-Gda project: a pilot connection for networked music performance, aimed at creating a low-latency music system between Gdańsk Tech and the Academy of Music using Audio-over-IP technology. This system is intended to enable collaboration between the institutions in the field of remote, network-based musical performances (Networked Music Performance).
